A poem I wrote in hig school about my fiance'.
My tainted blood spilled
My heart now empty was once filled
The only one I truly loved
Now flies from me like a winged dove
I’m losing my once sane mind
I’m looking for something I may never find

How many before you did I love?
I’m being truthful, there was none
And after you, you tend to ask
My heart is stolen
Don’t let it be broken
None will win my heart after you
You are my true love’s task

I always need you
I will never want another
I sit here thinking it through
And I know I can't lose you to any other

I was the first person you kissed
And you made me so nervous that I almost missed
And when we have a family of our own
Our love will truly be known

I've lost you twice
My heart is like ice
The bllod falls like rain
As I drown out my pain

The water burns
The fire drowns
I hear your voice
As I come around
You’re calling me home
Sorry for this pain
To my earthly body
As I feel disdained

What happened, where am I
Too much blood came
From my arms
You repeat your apology
For the pain you caused
By leaving me
Now you know the harm …my true love’s task
