A girl falls in love only to find a change in everything she experienced until now
As a lonely girl I tucked myself, quietly into bed,
eager to dream something new.
Now my eyes don’t close unless they get kissed.
When did I come so close to you?

As a lonely girl I would wear any color,
white in the cold & black in summer.
Now I make sure it’s the way you like.
When did such things start making me bother?

As a lonely girl I danced to the tune of raindrops,
again and again.
Now my feet won’t budge unless you’re there.
When did I become so lame?

As a lonely girl I would pray for hours,
desperately searching for solace.
Now I find that peace in your arms,
I didn’t know it was such a magical place.

As a lonely girl I needed someone,
a candle in my life so dark.
I always searched for a friend in you,
but look what you’ve done to my heart.

Now that you’ve come, never leave me; just make me your own,
'cause I fear my loneliness a lot; I don’t want to live alone.
