I sit quietly in my room...
I sit quietly
The room grows imposing
silently rising around me
I sit quietly and eye the clock ticking backwards
Tock tick tock tick
It exclaims with a fury
I sit quietly in my room
I turn to watch the wall,
The paint is dripping upwards
I sit quietly in my room
And watch as the curtains are flung open
The birds stall in the air
The trees fall downward
Reverting to saplings
The cars rust
The people turn to dust before my eyes
Retaining shape and falling
The wind sits silent
The dust remains untouched
As I sit quietly in my room.
The world reverts to ash.
