A poem to express what I've been feeling as of late dealing with my past and who I was.
Used To Be


Where did I go?
When did I leave?
Where is the girl,
Who used to be me?

They say she no longer exists.
But did I even try to resist?
The beatings, arguing
Constantly denied.

What happened to her?
Is she hiding from life?

Where did she go?
I can not say.
But where ever she's at,
She's not the one afraid.
