Why is it that my pen can say what

My mouth dare not utter?

Why do my eyes shy from what

My heart longs to stare at?

Why does my head say 'Let go, that's enough' when

My soul screams to hold on tighter?

Why must I say goodbye when

My yearning is to say I love you?
