Poem about God
[Introduction]

I walk through the valley of light and dark.
I stop to wonder about an odd little mark.
My heart beats steadiloy, a constant thump.
Suddenly, I hear a soft bump, bump, bump.
My heart beats just a little bit faster.
Suddenly ringing out was the voice of the Master.
"Do you not love others as you do yourself?
Do you place yourself that highly on a shelf?
I have commanded on this day to redeem this life.
Love each person you see and help him through his strife."
As the voice faded into the dark, I fell to my knees.
My eyes fall to the ground where I see two keys.
One black and one white, each of them flawless.
I look around to find nothing more than a chaotic mess.
Amongst the chaos, there are two doors.
Covered in debris and ruins is the vacant floors.
One door was white and one was black.
With a gentle shrug, I decide to give it a crack.
Walking effortlessly to the door of white;
Reaching for the door, so close in my sight.
As the door opens wide, fear fills my soul.
The floors were burning as hot as amber coals.
I whimper and slam the door closed.
I leaned against the door in a fearful pose.
I swallow hard and my curiousity gets the best of me.
I look around and the black door is all I can see.
I move unkowingly to the door in a straight line.
And I know that in the end, everything will be fine.
I walk in the valley of light and dark.
I stop to wonder about an odd little mark.
