A Poem I Wrote :) Enjoy
You See, My Voice is Small
Weak and Humble
A Mouse in Small Corner of the World
Too Afraid to Speak Against the Rat Traps
Keeping Me Hidden and Unimportant
Not to be Heard
Then They Came to Me
Pen and Paper, My Microphones to the World

Now, My Voice is Deep
A Rumbling Thunder, Dark and Raw
Strong and Real;
I'll Shake This World
With the Struggles of the Unimportant
Revealing the Hidden.

My Voice Stands Tall,
A Giant Among the Common Man's Din
I Walk in the Way of My Fellow
Poets, Writers, Speakers,
Groundbreakers and Shakers

My Words are Not Held Down
By What is Expected By
A Black Girl
A Natural Sista
A Teenager
My Voice Transcends All Normalities
Speaking In a Language that is not Mine
But Thousands
I Sing and Scream
And I Speak Out Loud
My Voice Reaching out
From My Hidden Shadows
