A poem with a hope for triumph, and for better days ahead
THE VALLEY OF THOSE FORGOT:

Once upon a time;
In the valley of my tears,
My soul surrendered after the tumultuous years.
Weary was I; weary I was,
Finally finding my resting place in the land of those forgot.

‘Weep not for me’ my Persian prince,
Weep not for a soul like mine finally at ease,
I am lifted up as surely as the sun re-enters the sky,
My entity blends with the heavens as the clouds gather to pour down the divine.

Weep not for me, my beloved, weep not for me
No more will my cross be the weight you carry,
No more this night vigil of realized dreams to tarry,

Now I am in everything, and now everything is I,
I who searched for place and purpose
I who longed for relevance, and numberless triumphs
I who now is lain with the forgotten, can never be forgotten

For I am in the green of the trees, and in the dust of the sand,
I am in the wind that blows east, and in the dews that descends earth,
I greet you with the chirpiness of birds,
I carry you with the gust of the sea,

Once upon a time,
In the valley of my tears, hope got killed.
And in its death my sorrow did grow.
I trod on with only but a mustard seed.

Pray for me Persian prince,
Pray for me beloved
Await me with harps and tambourines
For as surely as the sun rises and lights up the world,
I shall arise from the valley of those forgot.
