Inside Without

Gasping for a breath of notice
Wanting to be more
To be something he longs for
To be the first the only
But no
I am not

Yearning for what I can’t have
Never had
Won’t
Isolate the empty years of waiting to be had
I see where I stand
Alone with the man
Who cannot see,
Me

He is lonely too
Can’t see what to do
Hurting
Aching
Doesn’t feel anymore
He closes the door
To me
