fall to the shadows I will!
Thou Broke Me Heart
Samantha Stone

Please bestow thee with thy antidote,
I have not much time left for this broken heart of mine,
I mustn’t go much further,
I shan’t handle much more, or fall to pieces I will,
right to the bitter floor.
Be the death of me it will!
This broken heart of mine, Ripped to shreds and torn to pieces.
Held together barely by thy threads,

But wait! The beat, I think it ceases!
No more music to be played,
no more dancing at the masquerade.
Silence burns among thy hall as night yearns to begin its fall.

The lights begin to be no more,
as thy last dancer bows out the door.
I give one last step,
turn and wave,
Bidding Adieu to thy I had hoped to save.

I bid thee farewell,
kiss thy sweet hand,
I beg thou understand.
