2005 anniversary of OK City bombing
Ten Years, A Retrospect

The black rose cartwheels.
The cracked looking glass
Warps my relection.
Ice cream, like slime,
Oozes from the walls.
Throwing up my hands in exasperation,
I try to run...
But trip over a lollipop,
And, falling, crush twenty butterflies.
Opening my dilated eyes,
I can still see the cat.
But where is Mommie?
Who will tuck me in?
