Thoughts of how easy it was to be a kid.
Something quick I played around with...



Back in the day things were perfect.
No worries or real fears.
All day play, no working.
Every holiday meant fun times.
Presents were received, hardly given.
But nothing was expected. Of a child.
No thoughts of the rent bill.
Or who was going to pay.
Everything would get paid for.
You live life day to day.
Curled up on your parents lap.
You never felt the safest.
A kiss from mom to finish the night.
Another easy day ending so right.
