I wanted to open up honest communication with my wife!
Please, show me all of your inner-strength,
the embodiment of you. You always know
just what to do. You support me, I lean on you,
you have solidarity, skin deep.
You are so fragile. You need, just like I do.
I need your embrace for comfort and security.
If I could, I would stay swallowed up
in your arms forever. If you would
drop your guard and let me in,
you would know exactly how I feel,
my infinite love. You would trust,
relying on me, knowing you are safe. Let go.
I don't need to catch you,
I'm already holding you, can't you feel me?
I'll hold you so close.
Put your head on my chest, where you belong.
Maybe instead of peering in at the window
of your heart, I should knock on the door.
What have I been waiting for? If you opened up,
how much more captivating could you be. . .
