A poem for my mom
She is strong, she is beautiful, she is wise and she is mine
She loves like no other selfless and protective
I always believed she was my very own superwoman. The one and only immortal.
But she is not immortal she is surely mortal.
She is human, she makes mistakes.
She hurts, she cries, she gets sick.
She is so human and it took this to make me realize
Our life and time are precious..
All those years trying to rebel against her instead of appreciating her beauty and her love.
She is so human cause now she will have to leave me
And it pains me so cause i really need her
I depend on her so much and i never knew and now that i have come face with her mortality
i understand it all.
Her sacrifice, her unconditional love even when i screamed and shouted i hate you to the top of my lungs.
But now she's slowly being taken away from me. I would have never ever thought that this was to be our fate.
I Love her , I love her so much i cant express myself without tears drowning my vision and choking my throat making it hard to inhale any air at all.
She is My mommy the woman of my heart. No one has meant more to me and no one ever shall.
Why? i scream inside and drown in silent shrieks crying my eyes out pretending to be strong for the family.
but i cant, im hurting too much, i need my mommy. we need our mommy and she needs us.
She is all i have ever known. She has taught me things that i haven't recognized as her doing til now.
How could life be so cruel to try and steal her away.
Why do we appreciate people more when they are leaving?
No matter what I'll love her to my dieing day cause to me she will always be strong,
she will always be beautiful and she will always be wise and she will forever be mine.
Because She loves like no other selfless and protective
She truly is my superwoman and she is the one true immortal for she will always live in my heart.
My Mommy!!!!!
