Trying to explain why I never seem to get anywhere in my attempts at writing.
I have wanted to write stories ever since grade school.  I have always had a way with words and love to spice up conversations with words very few people use. Unfortunately I let life interfere with what I want to do on a daily basis.
Just today I was saying I would love to take off work and just spend a week crocheting and reading.  I did not even mention writing because I always have it take a back seat in my mind.  I guess the main reason I do not write is that I have too many interests in my life.
I am a group leader in a manufacturing plant.  In my spare time I love to crochet and read, mostly romance novels. Just in the last few years have I started reading a little more variety.  I loved the Twilight series.  I have also gotten into James Pattersons number series (can't remember name of the series).
I have written a couple of things over the years but I did not keep any copies of them and lost everything when my first computer crashed.  I am no computer geek and just get by with knowing what I need to know to get by.  This is one of the things I would love to have as a hobby.
Another interest I have is sewing.  The interesting thing about this is that I just about failed the sewing section of home economics when I was in high school.  I have wanted to learn to use a sewing maching ever since.  My husband got me a sewing machine several years ago for Christmas and I attempted a couple of projects when I first got it but did not have a great deal of success, although I did have fun.  If I had more time I would love to try to teach myself more.
My husband has the tendency towards bad health.  He had quadruple by-pass surgery several weeks ago.  Sometimes I think I could probably write an interesting book of my life but most of the time romance novels would be my first choice and childrens stories my second.
I have always loved learning and if I could do what I really want to do with my life (and have no need to work) I think I would spend the rest of my life in a college somewhere. Well I think this is all I am going to write in this article and I am not sure my title or synopsis fit but I have really enjoyed sitting and writing.  I feel almost like I have had a therepy session (not that i have ever had one) but I sure feel good for having written this.
