Love offered that was unretured
I offered you a gift,
My laughter, fun and joy,
To me it meant everything,
To you it way a toy.

I offered you a gift,
My loyalty, friendship and hope,
To me it meant everything,
To you, you thought I was a dope.

I offered you a gift,
My faith, honest and truth,
To me it meant everything,
To you it was uncouth.

I offered you a gift,
My love, life and my heart,
To me it meant everything,
To you it way just a lark.
