The heart is a lonely place sometimes.
Missing You by Terry Burres

To see you once more,

Your gentle eyes shine,

The curve of your face,

Your brown hair cascading.

To feel you once more,

The nuzzle of your nose,

Soft breaths against my cheek,

Your head leaning on my shoulder.

To hear you once more,

Whispers that reach my ear,

Warm skin brushing against hair,

Feet dancing in joyful abandon.

I am just missing you,

My sweet love.
