A short poem, trying something new for me. A Kyrielle.
eyes that cast a sweet embrace,

thoughts of passion in embrace.

do I dare to taste sweet lip,

consumed in passion’s darkest grip.

a whisper gentle and sublime,

creeps into my desire’s rhyme,

her eyes devouring every sip,

consumed in passion’s darkest grip.

eyes that burned with frightful fire,

consumed my body in crimson pyre,

my hands melting into her hip,

consumed in passion’s darkest grip.

throngs of passion found one thought,

here is were my soul was bought,

for I wanted her eyes my soul to strip,

consumed in passion’s darkest grip.
