A modern twist on Cinderella. Written in gossip girl style. Excuse the typos
Please excuse the typos, this is not the final draft

Its a play on Cinderella But its called Cindirella. It has a modern and gossip girl style

PART ONE

Cindirella woke up on afternoon to the high shrill screams of her beloved stepsisters, Tiffany Anne and Brittany Lou. Cindirella got out of her Egyptian cotton sheet satin canopy bed and put her perfectly pedicured feet into her beaded slippers. Cindirella then walked out of her room, and walked down the spiral staircase made from marble and onyx. As cindirella made her way down the staircase, through the expansive foyer, whose walls werecovered in original picasso’s and monets as well as antique cabinets filled with artifacts from all across the world. Passing the spacious living room, colored cream and black, a huge grand piano stood in the corner by the floor to floor Monticello windows, and then finallyreaching the newly remolded kitchen whose cabinets were a deep mahogany wood with matching marble countertops. Her two stepsisters, stood at the island in the middle of the kitchen, scantily clad in nothing more than postage stamp size ensembles, their long blond hair gleaming down their back, and their bright blue eyes staring at a mask shaped invitation embossed in gold and black letters. As Cindirella tried to get a glimpse of what the two barbie dolls in front of her were looking at, in came another Barbie doll. This barbie doll character was her stepmother Bobby Jo, who wore nothing more than a sheer satin robe leaving the rest unmentionable. Her long black hair grazed past her shoulders and her perfectly manicure red talon like fingernails grabbed the masked shaped invitation before cindirella could read what it said. Bobby Jo’s perfectly pursed plump lips, with thanks to Dr. Brunetti’s famouw restalyn lip injections let out a high pitch, nasal scream. The scream sounded like nails on a chalkboard, and much to the sensitivity of people’s ears, it lasted for a good minute. Finally Bobby Jo managed to get out what Cindirella and the Barbie dolls had been trying to read for the past 3 minutes. Bobby Jo only managed to get out three words gasping between each one, masquerade, party and shopping. Two out of the three words were probably the most spoken in Bobby Jo’s limited vocabulary but that didn’t stop Bobby Jo from making a mad dash up the stairs leaving the girls to understand what would be happening in the next 10 minutes. The biggest social event of the season was coming and only elite socialites from Beverly Hills and the adjacent areas and only those that had Cindirellas family status would gather at the Chaetau Mormont, where if your eyeliner did not match your dress you would be the talk of the tabloids till you were dead.. Cindirella realized that she only had 8 minutes to go upstairs and find something suitable to wear for a day of shopping and maxing out daddy’s credit cards on rodeo drive. Her stepmom and stepsisters spent money like running water but Cindirella had no time to dawdle. She ran up the stairs , into her room and made a mad dash to her expansive walk in closet. Cindirella’s walk in closet was a closet most girls only dreamed of. Filled with louboutins of every color, birkin bags of every shape and style and Juicy sweats in every color possible. Cindirella’s closet was the size of most studio apartments, and Bobby Jo’s was an eye sore to look at. Everything in Cindirellas closet was color coded and had their own space for everything. She scanned the racks of colorful clothes, sequins and beads shouting at her to wear them. But Cindirella only had 5 minutes or she would be left to fend for herself. It was about 85 degrees outside so Cindirella chose a flowy Diane Von Furstenberg maxi dress and gladiator sandles by tory burch. She threw on a hint of eyeliner, a spray of marc Jacobs daisy perfume some tiffany hoops and some layered necklaces before grabbing a fendi spy bag. Cindirella raced out the room, almost falling and breaking her ankle as she sped down the stairs and out the door to the black Bentley convertible where the Barbie’s were waiting.

Cindirella got in the black Bentley convertible, lined with red leather interior, and closed the door. The top was open, so as her stepmother sped out of the circular driveway, a flurry of blonde hair all colors, along with bobby jo’s black pin straight hair flew with the speed of the black Bentley. Driving down the streets in Beverly Hills, was like looking at a picturesque [postcard, complete with green palm trees, and gated Mediterranean style mansions. Beverly Hills was definitely the place to be. As the black Bentley turned the corner , quickly shifting from a sea of houses to a complete block full of luxury stores, Prada Fendi and Gucci just to name a few, the scenery changed from dog walkers walking their miniature peekapoos in their couture jogging uniforms to a cluster of blonde haired bimbos with hair down to their rear, with ultra tanned bodies, a blur of micro min skirts, ultra tight tube tops and oversized bags, enveloping their emaciated frames. Every one that shopped on rodeo drive was either a Chinese tourist or the too young and too thin (and not to mention about 25 years younger) wife of a multimillionaire plastic surgeon. They were most probably avid shoppers like cindirella and her stepmom and stepsisters. They dropped money like it grew from the big blossom tree in the backyard of their palatial estate. Bobby Jo never asked the price of anything, if bobby jo wanted it she got it with the swipe of her visa MasterCard. They parked the Bentley outside of Barneys, as the Barbie gang got out from the Bentley, which the town was overly populated by, too many Bentleys and too many bottle blondes; everyone stopped and stared, even taking a double take. These lovely blonde bombshells made heads turn a full 360 degrees and necks break like the crack of a fingernail tapping on a the glass jewelry counter of the Graff diamond ring they want. Bobby Jo was scantily clad in hip hugging jeans, a braided top and Chanel flats. She was made over to look like a three layer birthday cake. She looked more like a cake face with twelve pounds of makeup and overly straightened black hair held up by a pair of ray ban aviators. She carried her Birkin bag in one hand and her blackberry in the other hand showing off her red talon like fingernails. The sisters were in some sort of non existent tube dress with a sequined hem, black leggings, and crystal haviana flip flops, showing off their French manicured toenails complete with a diamond toe ring as well as some hideous looking bunions that bulged out on either side of their feet. They both carried matching louis vuitton monogrammed satchels, which were one of the many birthday presents they each got. They were drenched in the smell of Chanel number five perfume and their hair looked like an overload of bad hair dye and raggedy split ends, but they were still able too pull it off. Their makeup on the other hand was a no no. To put it simply, orange is definitely not the new tan. Looking like an oompa loompa in California where it was already sunny was a fashion faux paus. (Shame on you girls) They made their way to the grand double doors of the store, a handsome looking guard opening the door, winking at Bobby Jo and the rest of the clan. They made their way up the glass elevator, the girls flip flops sounded like a bunch of ducks in the water, and made their way up to the 2nd level. Of course the clan could not take the escalator because it involved a little something called walking and they of course were too prim and proper too do such things. As they entered the vast shoe department, something gleaming and sparkly caught her eye. It was the new Christain Louboutin Shoe, covered in swarovksi crystals with a matching bow and a too tall heel and the signature red sole of course. The shoe was displayed in a glass case which read not out till the end of the year. Obviously, this shoe was not available in stores yet, which kind of made Cindirella angry as to why the store would do this sort of scheme to girl who found the uber expensive, uber classy little shoe with the red sole and sky high heel, to be a necessity to their wardrobe. As Cindirella gazed at the shoe, something else caught her eye. This something was not in the category of non living things such as a louboutin shoe. But more of the living thing that can be sort of plastic depending on peoples perspectives. The shoes salesman was the most adorable creature Cindirella had ever seen. He looked more like a Ken doll who was just made at the factory and then put into his box for someone to buy. Shaggy dark hair, a suntan, and luscious lips were only a few of the qualities this Ken doll creature came with. Were batteries included? Cindirella thought she might be dreaming. Guys like this cant be real, he was too perfect. Ken or whatever his name was, was helping some rat faced looking redhead with a too pale face and freckles who was smiling at him while trying on a pair of gross looking brown suede shoes which were as ugly as her and more brown then she would ever be. Ken doll smiled back at the rat revealing a pair of perfectly white chicklet teeth. Oh was he adorable and he smelled good too as he passed by Cinderella, while going to fetch the rat face her ugly pair of shoes, Ken did a double take as he passed by the long blonde haired beauty almost tripping over a shoe measurer. It made cindirella’s little heart float out of her body and on too the floor where it needed to be picked up before it melted. Cindirella chuckled to herself for the thought of what she was able to do to guys while just standing in one place while doing absolutely nothing.
