Lots of them, spreading lavishly
On the black background
Of the night.

It's been a while now,
Since I've been in this place
At that height, watching,
From the tiny round window
Searching for that familiar
Coastline.

That coastline exactly,
Where so many years ago,
And even now,
Old people wept as they saw.
