Desert Skies

The beauty of a desert night,
is seeing stars that shine so bright.
Looking at the midnight skies,
is looking at the Creator’s eyes.
I look at them and think of you.
I know you see the same stars too.

The beauty stays in the skies,
as the sun begins to rise.
He paints the sky with His hand,
and spreads His warmth across the land.
It gives me strength to know it’s true,
that He’ll bring me home to you.
