a poem of thank you to a brother in law
Sometimes people come into your life
You never expect to be
The one who knows that you are blind
And helps to make you see

He never tells you that you’re wrong
He only points a new way
He knows just when to help you
And knows just what to say

Sometimes he tweaks your computer
Or gives you a pat on the back
And understands you crave the love
You feel your childhood lacked

So how do you let that person know?
You thank them through and through
Poetry is my only way
So I write this poem to you

He is just a brother in law you know,
Not really related you see
But I couldn’t ask for more
Of a truly good friend to me.
