A poem about my favorite place to be.
When I enter this one room
My burdens feel light.
No sadness or impending doom.
And no need to fight.

I sit at the table
Adorned with papers.
This feels like an innocent fable.
No criminals or evil capers.

My friends all surround me
With not just their presence
But with their old constant glee.
As if there's no need for penance.

It's this type of life
That I am after.
Instead of being stabbed in the back by a knife.
But ears filled by voices filled with laughter.

But I can just acept this room.
This break from reality.
With its help I will face
A;; the world's catastrophes.
