This is about someone who wants a person to notice them until they're insecure.
If I sit here

maybe you'll find me

on a crisp fall day

on this wooden park bench

waiting for you

don't think I can't see behind the leaves

I'm strong enough to push through the trees

see your insecurity

one day your leaves will fall down infront of me

everyone will see

you're still the same person

I thought you would be
