This is about me choosing not to sacrifice myself for an unhealthy person..
You stood on my Porch
You stood so alone

Frolicking on the edge of numbness
I wanted to be numb with you
I mourn the rainfall and the Malibu @ 3 a.m.
But my Tears taste sweeter than You

Watching you as you slept
I didn't feel a thing
A pretty package I wanted to return

Sometimes I feel the desire to crush you
With my teeth and taste the happiness that would
Surely follow
The momentary distraction you so readily
Supplied

I do not know who you are when you're alone
At night, underneath stars.
Just like me
I'll put you on the shelf
And avoid you
Every chance I get

You stood on my Porch
You stood so alone
I mourn the Rainfall and the Malibu@ 3a.m.
But my Tears taste sweeter than You
