separation's never fun.
i see you for a minute,
then you're gone.
right there, but out of my reach.

i cry out, but my voice is lost.
then you're gone,
out of my sight.

i don't ask you to come.
i won't ask you to stay.
but when you leave,
you take my heart away.

because you're gone.
