One mans beauty is another mans sport.
Free

How beautiful the scenery that spreads before my eyes.
Melancholy thoughts, as I watch a new sunrise.

Golden heads of corn sway gently in the breeze.
Coloured flowers raise their heads, looking for the bees

Giant trees with arms outstretched, reaching for the sky.
I watch with awe and wonder, as I slowly pass them by.

The animals look so happy, the rabbit, and the hare.
The crafty fox alights his den, to sniff the morning air.

A deer emerges from the wood, looking all around.
I’m peeping through the hedgerow, trying not to make a sound.

His ears are pricked his eyes alert, he knows there something wrong.
The pheasant cries his warning, and sets off in full song.

The animals all stop feeding the rabbit starts to run.
Around the corner, he appears the poacher with his gun.

A flash of steel a big loud bang, shot flying through the air.
Another life he’s taken; we know he does not care.

Some will say it's sport others disagree.
To take the life of anything, just is not right to me.
