Edgy

I wish
I had bones
And sharp things
Beneath shiny
Skin and
A spine to
Give me support

But instead
I press my
Soft spots and
Roll into comforting
Shapes
That have no edge

And I wonder if I’m
Lucky or just boring
And wish
I was insatiable enough
To jump into
A river
Just to get
A drink

The holy

Love is not a do
(an action) it is the holy part

not the deeds
but the soil
the fosters these deeds

I’ve been deluged
By seductive verse,
Confined
By walls of flowers,
Bled out
By fragile (but lethal)
Paper hearts
Love
Is spirit
And does not
Do

A show

It is that vibration the buddhist’s
Speak of
That transcends

I give my
Embrace

So I
Don’t miss
The holy part

At McDonald’s

I’m fixated
With French fries
And fetish
Lies and traps

So subtle
I feel them
But can’t see
The exits

I want to
Pick the locks
And the brains
And lick the salt
From everything

So then ascend
To a nirvana
Where I
Don’t notice

Husbands kissing
Their wives
While touching me
With their
Eyes
