Longer than usual; loss of love/relationship, with emphasis on retaining friendship.
The days are going well, yet things keep growing further apart.

Not sure this isn't hell, but, hell, it's a total different start.

I'm not too worried about the things: those that have come, but now are passing,

Because- all that the future brings will be the answers to what I'm asking.

Can we -- do we need to -- look around and see the things we do not have

Or maybe we should just proceed to the following of a different path.

And allow the things remain to be, though they may not satisfy you

That being the case, just look and see; their image can slip right by you.

And in this passing, as said before, the answers will soon replace

The questions; but I'll say once more,

If this is what you're looking for, you'll find it at your own pace.

So leave behind the trifle..., um, the petty minute flings

And then prepare to stifle the problems that the futures bring.

Or just don't worry and keep on living, which is how I plan to do it

When life says, "Ryan, please stop giving," I prob'ly won't renew it.

I'm pleased, or satisfied, with all that's been, though it may be ending

I'm just looking forward to the after-end, surely better things are pending.

So, in this partial closing, I must reflect that I am obliged

To -- in the future -- not neglect the importance of your lives.

As your lives have helped me (in many ways) make it through my own

So in these, almost the greatest days?, my thanks to you be known.
