Marriage, unconditionally and in its purest form.
A Meditation on Marriage

Do you love tulips
With fiery tips or
Subtle shadings or
One neutral hue?

Do you love tulips
Two lips
Not knowing which is
More charming?

Do you love tulips
My lover of spring and
Spring of a lover
Yet fiery still?

Do you love tulips
In dying rain and
Noise of bloom for
Stem and leaf and bud?

I do. Rain and bloom and
Burning earth and
Beginning and each
Petal. I do.
