A new twist on writing a form of poetry
Her smile, white as the pearls she wears. Her hair, as soft as silk. I imagine myself holding close in my arms once more. Just one more embrace, one final dance. Just one final tango, before I go. Darkness, my only friend now…my only companion. It surrounds me, shrouds my thoughts of a happier time. A rush of pain fills my every pore. The pain is excruciating, searing, and most of all a good omen. It means I’m still here…I’m still alive.  Suddenly, nothing…emptiness takes pains place. The beating of my heart, the final sign I’m still alive, struggles to keep on going. My darling, my one and only. I must fight to get back to her. Darkness starts to win the struggle, I hold onto an image of her in my head. Darkness wins, darkness wins…
