a very painful breakup of a precious love
Remember

Remember me and what you’ve done,
Remember what made me cry,
Remember how I made you feel,
And why I wanted to die.

Remember how we used to be,
Remember the closeness that we had,
Remember what made us special,
And remember how you made me sad.

But most of all, remember this:
I was there for you no matter what,
I was the one you could trust,
And in the end, I was the one treated like a slut.

You tore my heart out of my chest,
You threw it on the floor,
You stomped all over it and left it there,
Leaving me feel like whore.

Despite all you said and did,
I stayed by your side,
In return, you turned on me,
And forced my feelings to hide.

Walking on eggshells around you,
Preventing myself from causing pain,
I wore out my mind and body,
Me, a wolf, and you, wolfs bane.
