Who is superior to who?
Emotion and Logic can not be combined
With Logic's rigid standpoint and Emotion's freewill
Crossing paths what happens no one could tell.

Logic is thought to be narrowed to a science,
but isn't emotion what drives it to completion?

Logic is thought of by people,
people are controlled by their emotions.

Is logic really superior to emotion
when put in this context?

Logic wants answers,
emotions want heart.

Do what you love and love what you do
Love is still possible with science, its true.

If I could pin love down to a science, and
Know the reasons of how.
I could then tell the steps hidden within
And what sorts of hormones are taking place.

But I could not tell you why, love
Was put on Earth in the first place.

I could not tell you why people feel happy, or sad
I could never know why people need to get so mad.

If logic and reason can not unveil these simple truths
Then what good is this logic and reason if we know nothing
of these feelings, which are ever, present to us?

If the universe was made up of shadows
And logic was in the dark, emotion would
Be our flashlight in a world full of dark.

If the world was devoid of logic, the drive
To find answers would be lost.

If the world had no emotion, the knowledge behind
That drive to uncover unknown would too be lost.

Logic driving reason, reason driving logic,
Which is first, no one knows it.
