a poem of nature.
Nature, Nature

I sit and stare.

The green side of the tiny

Berries staring back.

Why? Why do they stare?

Why do I?

What right do I have to judge

This small, red and green Plant?

I want it to tell me things I

Suppose, I want to know its

Hidden secrets.

“Tell me small plant, what do you know?”

I ask it this aloud

“Only the smell of being alone.”

But why alone? You have so

Many friends, thinks I to myself.

“Tell me small plant, why do you feel alone?”

I ask with fear at the reply.

The plant replied to me not.

And I sat a little while more.
