Somewhere in between
Taillights highlight and empty road
On the way to home
Somewhere in between it seems
That’s where she will always be
White picket fences and dark dreams
Somewhere needed to lay her weary head
Home has never been the place to be
She closes her eyes and wishes it all away
Just once to feel and believe all that’s said
To never feel somewhere in between
