Sir Gawain had only one question - was she in distress or was he? UENG Flash Fiction
Chivalry

The sound of a distant waterfall broke Sir Gawain's reverie as he bounced along the faint trail. Stretching in the saddle, he felt his back protest. Old scars and too many battles! Oh, to be home again, he thought. As a Knight of the Round Table, he was honor -bound to complete the task that King Arthur had dispatched him on.

He had ridden for four days, finally arriving at Tintagel. This was the King's birthplace and, when word arrived that it was under attack by a monster, Arthur had dispatched Sir Gawian with the words "It is only fitting that you should see the place that shaped your uncle."

I'm not sure that my sore ass is worth protecting a bunch of superstitious folks from a few floating branches! Sir Gawain shook his head as he remembered his heroic deed. "Still," he muttered, "they know the King is a compassionate man and this will ensure their continuing fealty."

Coming out of a thick copse, he saw the water cascading into a large pool at the base of a cliff, colors dancing in the air as the churning descent hit and then bubbled up, throwing a thin spray skyward.

Pulling the reigns, he came to a stop. That looks so refreshing ... surely an hour to soak off the road dust wouldn't hurt. Dismounting, he walked his horse to the water's edge.

As the horse was noisily sating its thirst, he viewed his surroundings. "One can't be too careful, can one Gringolet?" he questioned, patting the horse's withers.

Surveying the immediate area, he took note of a patch of long grass, dotted with wild flowers, and led the steed to it, loosing him to graze.

Stripping down, he neatly piled his clothes and armor nearby, ensuring that his broad-sword was readily accessible. The sun felt warm on his naked torso as he stretched in the mid-day light. With a last look around, he dove into the crystal waters.

Coming up from the dive, he pushed his hair back, shaking the water from his eyes ... and froze. Across the pool, rising like the Goddess Venus from the water, was a beautiful young woman.

How did I miss her? he questioned himself.

As she walked onto the shore, she looked back – directly into his eyes – and smiled; she then sat, as though waiting.

Gawain fought through a conflicting maze of emotions, finally deciding to approach her. While he was known as a lusty man, he was not used to seeing someone like this – totally at ease with their own nakedness.

"Hello," he began, "are you in need of assistance?"

Her laughter preceded her answer. "No, Sir Knight. Are you?" Her voice floated over the percussion of the falling water like a feather wafting on random currents of air.

Emerging from the pool, he stood before her. Her smiled widened. "I see that you are in some need, m'lord." No further invitation was needed and Gawain settled beside her.

"And who, m'lady, may I say I've had the pleasure of meeting?"

She raised a finger of her hand, soft and gentle, reached over, and touched his lips. "There is no need for such formalities," she whispered, rolling over and replacing her finger with her lips.

The "goddess," as Gawain had come to think of her, began to playfully trail her hands over his chest, playing with his chest hair, curling it around her fingers. He reached for her hand, gently squeezing it, then bring it up to kiss her fingers. Gawain's lips moved to her palm, kissing with just a touch of tongue... sliding up and moving his tongue between her fingers suggestively.

She pushed him back and, brazenly rolled over on top of him, her legs straddling his belly. Holding down his wrists, she began kissing him again, moving from his lips to the neck - nuzzling, licking, nibbling her way down to his chest. Gawain could feel the electric thrill of the reversed roles as her mouth continued to move.

His response to her teasing was a growing erection pushing against her soft mound. Her lips worked further down his torso and he moved his hips, allowing his swelling manhood to lie erectly against her stomach and providing her with stimulation as she moved up and down, rubbing her self against the growing hardness.

She released his wrists to turn around, to lovingly lavish attention on his now fully erect penis. As her tongue began moving over the tip, finding the first drops of his passion, he pushed her back – no longer content to be passive.

Finding the soft velvet of her opening and, spreading her lips with his thumbs, Gawain lowered his hungry mouth to the waiting warmth. Hearing her gasp as his tongue found the already stimulated bud, he began flicking over it, up and down.

With a small groan, she closed her mouth over his shaft, her head bobbing up and down as she sucked and licked in return. Her groans growing louder, she rolled off and positioned her self above him.

Once again in control, she reached down to guide him into her warm, wet, welcoming opening, and as he pushed himself inside, they kissed deeply. Tongues thrusting, devouring each other, Gawain could not ignore the feeling of her convulsions deep inside, and he began to convulse too, sending a flood deep into her.

In total exhaustion, they lay together, allowing their breathing to return to normal.

"Well, Sir Knight," she murmured into his shoulder, "it seems that we're both models of chivalry today."

Gawain pulled back, a quizzical look on his face.

"Isn't one of tenets of the Knights' code of chivalry to always provide succor?"

Even with the noise of the falls, Gringolet snorted and looked up at the sound of the ensuing laughter.
