older poem, just found it
As I lay drowning,
In the pools of my sadness,
While you sit there frowning,
In the thros of madness,
I gaze up at you glaring,
Sitting and wondering,
Why is he staring?
My soul is thundering,
The darkness is tearing,
Ripping at my soul,
I don't know when i stopped caring,
Or when i lost control,
Lord save me,
From this godforsaken hell,
This is the life you gave me,
I'm just waiting for you to ring the bell,
The bell chimes "that's the end of round 1,
Are you ready for round 2?"
The damage is done,
That's it lord we're through
