A poem I wrote while working as a caregiver to an elderly lady
Summer sunset heavy on my mind
flowing westward all the time
breezy memories, endless rhyme
lonely bustle too far to climb
who has come to soothe my soul
The one unspoken comes to mind
Endless companion to hold my hand
who is out there? My loves embrace
Mottled sunshine to greet the day
wanting purchase not to stay.
