relationships dealing with addictions
As I walk through the desert; I call out
The hot sandy wind plays with my words
My life has been a struggle for years now
I can't seem to avoid the thirst or sunburn
And when the night falls, I'll be cold again
I have always wanted something in
My life to be routine
I've often felt myself taking the wrong path
One's that make me suffer
I'd much rather be walking through
A field of flowers
And crossing under waterfalls;
Sand stung at my face pulling me back to
reality
I've been waiting to be rescued
I can sense the fear in you
I feel you'd rather see me give up- then to
face the reality I'm seeking and hold my
hand, as I walk through this desert-
