Some may think I'm crazy, Some may share my secret friend...
I envy you
Your ever-changing existence
Always transforming, yet stable, reliable
You come and go as you please
Like me,
You’re not all that fond of the light
But you grace the early risers
With your presence now and then
You are my motivation
You are my rock
My shoulder to cry on
But do you really care?
Or are you just amused by me
And my admiration of you?
Do you ever relay my messages?
Do they bounce off of you,
Into the night?
Do they reach their destinations?
I want to be like you,
Gone at my own will
Tomorrow, I will see you,
If you’ll let me
Oh, how I wonder where you go
And how to get there…
