A venting poem.

Mental Thunderstorm

There has always been a time in life, in which I've had a perfect friend,
A friend all to perfect, a friendship that had to end.
Though too witty to call it quits, to stop this worthless shit--
Putting up with you, a friend that holds no benefit
Has simply brought me down... literally dragged me to the ground,
I hope you think that I, your 'friend' so sweet and sound
Would hope that this tears you apart, leaving a deep and bloody mark,
Because you no longer have that shoulder that you abused upon the start.

I simply love the fact that you like to play these games,
'Hey, you're writing this poem, and I'm the one insane?'
No, simply put, honey, deflecting is not defense,
It's just a pathetic attempt to retaliate upon my offense.
You can attack with ridiculous insults, just know that you're insecure,
You do NOT have my friendship, that of which, you cannot re-procure.
I never thought I'd have so much fun destroying you with words,
Nor did I think I'd have to deal with anyone anymore absurd.

So please, stop wasting your time, so that I can stop wasting mine,
So you can get on with your pathetic life, and I can leave you behind.
Still feeling butt-hurt, a little shocked, or is the moment all too stale?
Just rest assured that if you retaliate, that I've got the black mail.
I'm going to stop now, with high hopes that you do too,
Because life is way too short to be wasted on someone like you.
There has always been a time in life, in which I've had to drop a friend,
Just remember: a pathetic personality is a great reason to let it end.
