The moments elastic
& shrinks to a singularity
We become invisible
Events turn on their heads

The crowd lights a cigarette
Absolute synchronicity
The sentiments ubiquitous
(Or so they tell me)

You’re standing outside on a ledge
Counting the earth’s revolutions
Precise mathematical equations
Spin vs. velocity

It’s then that I take you
A waterfall of emotion in my arms
The fear like a dervish spiral
& tears running parallel
