Pulse of Johannesburg in 2010 as it grows into a truly African city.
Hustle bustle and back again
What you here for man?
What's your thing?
Pointy shoes and high button collar
I've heard about you
You're a big thing right?

Hey lady, pretty skirt and high heels
You've got a great job and your own money
that's good

The buildings are going up fast
only four months to go to the big game
the traffic is a steady, roaring river
not as clean or as good for the spirit
but lots of energy, lots to do
space for everyone

Paradise in Africa
so much possibility
so much money - the new god
an old god?
how long has money ruled?
It still goes strong

But now black faces are smiling too
Not ready to let go
same as everyone else
