love, loneliness, unrequited
I’ve searched the seas,
And tear up the ground,
But with each spin of the earth,
I wonder if my love will ever make its rounds to you.
For when love is lost,
Where can it be found?

I am not a religious man,
But I hope someone is there,
To forward my prayers,
To your awaiting ears.
And then,
I will swear my love,
For better or waste,
No how bitter it tastes,
Will shed its light,
Through this path of darkness.

The sun always sets,
And I lay my head to rest,
Tangible,
In my dreams,
As you walk along the crescent of the moon,
So high above,
Watching with tired eyes,
Waiting for you fall,
In my arms,
To start this romance,
But then I wonder,
Is it just the pain of loneliness,
I have fallen in love with.
Star-crossed desire,
I never meant for my heart to end in this,
Disaster.
