...A dream of Sylvia
I awoke to her  in my head.
Is it possible to be obsessed
With one dead?
Or am I just blessed?

She stated her name
For fact it was Plath
I shrunk back in shame
Wanting not to feel her wrath

Her ghost clung to me
A spirit lost due to love
A soul turned to debris
Trying to make me not one of

“I love you, Darling I love you”
Are words we both should have shrunk from
We both waited until our hearts were overdue
Why did I have to succumb?

It’s over over over
No more
Done
Love is through
Love is not me

Thank you Plath for all I learned to see
