There could be no happiness without strife, but at the end who was who?
She came with a tragic mask, born of death and tears.

She came with a mask of smiles, comedy ringing in ears.

Melpomene lamented of pain and strife and sputtered for longing and loss.

Thalia danced with laughter and grins and wept with joy in forests of emerald moss.

She embraced the sun alight with happiness in all her years.

While the other could only hide in agony, never without her fears.

Thalia crooned sweet harmony, giggling children and the freedom of no cost.

Melpomene sang of manipulation, poisoned love upon seas in toss.

Melpomene and Thalia, guides of fate and men.

They sang, they danced, they sculpted stories of love and sin.

They were both of dark and light, vespers of air and wind.

But the when the final sunset came, who was who in the end?
