a poem/lyrics about waiting for other people to save you
She lies cold in her empty bed
And only the rain mourns her
They left her empty
She wouldn’t go on
They drained her dry and left her

She’s frozen and waiting
Lost and she’s fading
she’s alone and still waiting
don’t know if they’ll find her.
Or even if they should

She was waiting for help
And they left her alone
She was surprised by her fate
Now all she can do is wait

Wait for the air to leave her lungs
And wait for the pain to dissipate
Wait for her heart beat to subside and stop
Wait for a reason to be

She’s frozen and waiting
Lost and she’s fading
she’s alone and still waiting
don’t know if they’ll find her.
Or even if they should
