This is a poem I wrote last summer when it was about 110 degrees outside, as you'll see!
As I cling to the corners of reality... sanity frayed... logic dissolved, my brain begins to expand and contract...

Slowly, I begin the descent into madness. This is what heat will do to you....

It drives your mind into a town called Delusion, where time melts into space and your blood boils in your veins...

When you finally reach delirium, you're just glad you've got water for that sandpaper throat of yours!  The insanity part, well that is simply an unavoidable consequence of HEAT!
