An old poem with a bit of a religious message. Main speaker is a favorite angel of mine.
The thunder roared
And the lightning crashed
As the angels fought
And the demons laughed.

"You will never win,"
Lucifer the Fallen said.
"I will have their souls
Once they are dead."

"A few we will lose,"
One angel replied,
"And they will be yours
after they have died.
They will join you in Lake of Fire,
There to burn forever,
Where not a one can be saved
By an angel in Heaven."

"Laugh while you can
For your day shall come;
And you'll know when it is
For I'll be blowing on my horn."
