Its about a man and his mask...
I sit in front of the mirror, tired and suffocated
Surrounded by a huge din, ears filled with loud cheers,

The mirror lies of a face, joyous and elated
Hiding behind a painted face, a rush of tears

The world expects me to laugh, i lay anguished and exasperated
Try to give them what they want, a crack on my smile appears

They only see the mask i put on, smily and exaggerated,
Blind to the man behind they laugh, lines of my identity smears

I stand in a strong crowd, lost and berated
Wait for a hand to hold. pain of loneliness nears

The mask now seems old
Shredded and torn at the end

The years wash away the fake laugh, broken ego
Sit and wonder the many things to mend

But my time runs out, the curtain is raised
The show must now go on..

I put my mask on, the world laughs again...
But this Jester will always mourn...
